AB Sagax Acquires Nine Properties for SEK 1.125 Billion Across Iberia and Europe in Six Transactions

STOCKHOLM, Aug. 17, 2026AB Sagax has acquired nine commercial properties through six separate transactions for the equivalent of SEK 1.125 billion, the Stockholm-listed property company announced, continuing its expansion of warehouse and light industrial holdings across Europe.

The portfolio encompasses 106,000 square metres of lettable area, primarily comprising warehousing and light industrial premises, along with 192,800 square metres of freehold land. The properties are fully occupied, carrying a 100% occupancy rate and an average remaining lease term of 3.6 years. Annual rental income from the portfolio amounts to the equivalent of SEK 82 million.

Geographic Breakdown and Closing Timeline

The largest share of the investment is concentrated in Iberia, which accounts for SEK 946 million of the total. The remaining acquisitions are distributed across Benelux at SEK 93 million, Germany at SEK 49 million, and France at SEK 37 million.

Closings totalling SEK 1.039 billion have already taken place. The remaining transactions, representing approximately SEK 86 million of the total, are expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2026.

The acquisitions will be reported across AB Sagax's Iberia, Benelux, Germany and France segments in the company's financial disclosures.

The transactions add to a portfolio that, as of June 30, 2026, comprised 1,065 properties and 5,478,000 square metres of lettable area. AB Sagax's business model centres on investing in commercial properties, with a primary focus on the warehouse and light industrial segment.

The acquisitions come as AB Sagax has been actively deploying capital. In the first half of 2026, the company recorded net investments in properties of SEK 2.219 billion, with acquisitions accounting for SEK 2.181 billion of that total. AB Sagax has raised its full-year 2026 forecast for profit from property management to SEK 4.6 billion, up from a prior outlook of SEK 4.5 billion.
