CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. — CenterSquare Investment Management, a global real estate investment manager with $14 billion in assets under management as of December 2025, announced April 2, 2026, that it participated as an anchor investor in the initial public offering of Janus Living (NYSE: JAN), a Life Plan Community (LPC) owner focused on the U.S. senior housing sector.

A Senior Housing Platform Built Around Continuum-of-Care

Janus Living owns a portfolio of Life Plan Communities across the United States, concentrated in markets where the 80-and-older population is projected to grow. The communities are structured to provide independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing services within a single campus, enabling residents to age in place while receiving progressively higher levels of care as needed.

"Janus Living represents a compelling platform within the LPC space, combining high-quality assets with an experienced management team and a resident-focused model," said Patrick Wilson, Real Estate Securities Portfolio Manager at CenterSquare. "We believe the company is well-positioned to benefit from favorable demographic trends and increasing demand for continuum-of-care solutions."

CenterSquare's Rationale for the Investment

CenterSquare, headquartered in suburban Philadelphia with offices in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Singapore, manages investments on behalf of institutional and private investors globally. Founded in 1987, the firm focuses on listed real estate and private real estate strategies.

"We are pleased to support Janus Living as it enters the public markets," Wilson added. "This capital raise should position the Janus Living team well out of the gate with plenty of dry powder to support future growth, enhance its existing communities, and expand its footprint in key markets."

Janus Living CEO Welcomes CenterSquare as Cornerstone Investor

Scott Brinker, President and Chief Executive Officer of Janus Living, highlighted CenterSquare's track record in public and private real estate as a key factor in the partnership.

"We are proud to have CenterSquare participate as a cornerstone investor in the Janus Living initial public offering," Brinker said. "CenterSquare is a thought leader across public and private real estate investment with a strong track record, and their early indication to participate in the initial public offering reflects confidence in our unique senior housing platform, leadership team, and growth opportunity. We are excited about the future for Janus Living and partnership with CenterSquare."

Broader CenterSquare Activity

The Janus Living anchor investment is part of a period of active deal-making for CenterSquare. In March 2026, the firm announced a recapitalization of Tenaya Village in Las Vegas in partnership with Hamilton Lane, and separately disclosed the acquisition of two new retail centers.
