Colliers Brokers 1,028-Square-Meter Lease at Niam-Owned Nørrehus in Odense for New IB Program

ODENSE, Denmark — July 6, 2026 — Colliers has brokered the leasing of 1,028 square meters at Nørrehus, located at Thomas B. Thriges Gade 42–44 in central Odense, to Nyborg Gymnasium. The tenant will use the space to establish a new International Business (IB) education program, with classes set to begin in summer 2027, according to an announcement from Colliers.

Deal Details: Nørrehus Lease to Nyborg Gymnasium

The leased space was previously occupied by Tietgenskolen and is already configured for educational use, reducing the need for significant fit-out work ahead of Nyborg Gymnasium's planned opening. The gymnasium's new IB program will represent the first time the institution has offered an international student examination in Odense, with the aim of drawing students from across the island of Funen, Colliers said.

Nørrehus is part of a larger commercial complex owned by Niam. The total commercial area of the property stands at approximately 27,800 square meters. The building is described as a multi-tenant facility offering flexible floor plates alongside shared amenities including a canteen, fitness facilities, and meeting rooms.

Colliers described the transaction as another step in the ongoing development of Nørrehus into a modern multi-tenant building with a broad mix of occupiers. The Nyborg Gymnasium lease adds an education component to the tenant mix at the property.

According to Colliers, office space remains available at the property, offered as flexible leases in varying sizes. The stated objective is to create a dynamic business environment that accommodates tenants from different sectors, with opportunities for cross-sector interaction and shared use of common facilities.

The building's central location — in proximity to Odense Banegård (Odense Central Station), Storms Pakhus, and Odense Havnebad — along with associated parking facilities, is cited by Colliers as a key factor in the property's appeal to a diverse occupier base.
