Colliers Completes Acquisition of Ayesa Engineering, Expanding Global Engineering Platform to 23 Countries
TORONTO, May 27, 2026 — Colliers (NASDAQ, TSX: CIGI) has completed its acquisition of Ayesa Engineering S.A.U., the engineering division of Ayesa Inversiones S.L.U., the company announced Tuesday. The transaction adds more than 3,300 professionals to Colliers' engineering segment and extends the firm's engineering operations to 23 countries with over 11,000 professionals.
A Global Multidiscipline Engineering and Project Management Firm Joins Colliers
Ayesa Engineering is a global multidiscipline engineering and project management firm headquartered in Seville, Spain, that provides technical consulting services across four continents. The firm's approximately 3,300 professionals operate in 21 countries, delivering design, site supervision, and consultancy services across transportation, water, buildings and cities, and energy sectors.
Notable projects in Ayesa Engineering's portfolio include the design and project oversight of the transformation of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, the design of hundreds of desalination and water distribution facilities across Saudi Arabia, and the design and project oversight of several metro lines globally, including the Bogotá Metro in Colombia.
Under the terms of the transaction, Ayesa Engineering's leadership team has retained significant equity under Colliers' partnership model and will continue to drive operations and growth of the business going forward.

With the addition of Ayesa Engineering, Colliers Engineering now operates in 23 countries with over 11,000 professionals, delivering engineering, design, project management, and technical consulting services across Property & Buildings, Infrastructure & Transportation, Water, and Environmental end markets.

Geographic Expansion Into EMEA and Latin America
Ayesa Engineering's presence across Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and South Asia complements Colliers Engineering's existing operations in the United States, Canada, and Australia. The combination gives Colliers Engineering additional scale in those regions.
Colliers operates through three main businesses — Commercial Real Estate, Engineering, and Investment Management — and reports $5.7 billion in annual revenues, 24,000 professionals, and $109 billion in assets under management.

In connection with the transaction, Alantra acted as financial advisor and Uría Menéndez acted as legal advisor to Colliers. Baird and Arcano Partners acted as financial advisors to Ayesa Group and its owners, while Pérez-Llorca and Weil, Gotshal & Manges acted as legal advisors to Ayesa Group and its owners, A&M Capital Europe and the Manzanares family. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Colliers said it expects Ayesa Engineering's leadership team, now equity partners under the firm's partnership model, to continue driving the business's operations and growth strategy going forward. Colliers added that it sees significant opportunity to accelerate global growth within its engineering business, both organically and through further acquisitions.
