Colliers Opens 20,310-SF San Diego Brokerage Office in Del Mar Heights, Consolidating Two Locations
SAN DIEGO, Calif. — July 6, 2026 — Colliers | U.S. has opened a new San Diego brokerage office at 12780 High Bluff Drive within the Highlands Corporate Center in Del Mar Heights, the firm announced. The 20,310-square-foot, two-story standalone building consolidates Colliers' former Carlsbad and University Town Center offices into a single location, bringing professionals together under one roof to streamline operations and strengthen client service across the region.
Strategic Consolidation in a Central Submarket
The move positions Colliers at a location the firm describes as improving accessibility between San Diego's North County markets, the UTC corridor, and the broader coastal and downtown submarkets. Del Mar Heights is home to the Highlands Corporate Center campus at High Bluff Drive.
"Our new office was planned with purpose to reflect our unified approach and align with how we work," said Aaron West, Regional Executive Managing Director for San Diego and Las Vegas, whose vision shaped the ground-up design. "Integrating our full team into a single setting fosters connectivity, creates opportunities to share insights and expertise, and positions us for continued growth. Its central location improves accessibility for clients across North County, coastal, and downtown markets, enabling us to serve the broader San Diego region more seamlessly."
The project took approximately 10 months to complete. West partnered with ID Studios, Inc. as architect and designer, Burger Construction as general contractor, and Serbia Stewart Consulting Group for project management, overseeing the effort from concept through completion.
Single-Tenant Design Built for Collaboration
As a standalone, single-tenant building, the property offers a differentiated experience compared with traditional multi-tenant office environments. The design incorporates a custom internal stairway as a central architectural element, providing seamless vertical connectivity between the two floors. The build-out emphasizes natural light, warm and textured materials, and clearly defined zones intended to facilitate transitions between focused work, meetings, and larger gatherings.
The Highlands Corporate Center campus is situated in proximity to One Paseo and Del Mar Highlands Town Center, two mixed-use destinations that provide retail, dining, and other amenities for employees and clients.
"San Diego remains a key market for Colliers, and this investment reflects our confidence in its future and our long-term commitment to building a best-in-class platform with top talent, deep market expertise, and a results-driven, team-oriented culture," said David Josker, President of West Region Brokerage. "By continuing to invest in spaces and strategies aligned with how our teams and clients work, we're advancing our ability to deliver sustained value and drive meaningful growth across the region."
Colliers' West Region Brokerage Footprint
The San Diego office opening is part of Colliers' broader West Region Brokerage platform, which spans offices across Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Louisiana, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Washington under Josker's oversight.
Aaron West, who joined Colliers San Diego in 2024 after previously serving as Managing Director of the firm's Las Vegas office, leads brokerage operations across both the San Diego and Las Vegas markets. His responsibilities include business development, service delivery, and talent recruitment across service lines. Prior to Colliers, West served as a Vice President at CBRE, where he led a multi-market brokerage team representing national and international corporate clients.
The consolidation of the Carlsbad and UTC offices into the new Del Mar Heights location brings the firm's San Diego-area operations under a single roof. The single-tenant format at High Bluff Drive provides a cohesive, branded environment that the firm says supports both operational efficiency and long-term adaptability.
