Curbline Properties Posts Record $374 Million in Q2 2026 Acquisitions Across 25 Convenience Center Transactions
Curbline Properties Corp. (NYSE: CURB) announced that it closed $374 million in acquisitions across 25 transactions during the second quarter of 2026, the highest quarterly investment volume the company has recorded since its spin-off.
Year-to-date through June 30, 2026, Curbline Properties acquired 44 convenience shopping centers for a combined $516.5 million, the company said in a press release issued July 6.
Record Quarter
"As expected, the second quarter was Curbline's highest quarterly investment volume since our spin-off, with $374 million of acquisitions across 25 unique transactions," said David Lukes, President and Chief Executive Officer. "The record levels speak to our team, the infrastructure and process that we've built along with the Company's network of relationships, track record and targeted approach to sourcing investments consistent with the existing portfolio."
Equity Capital Funds Acquisition Push
Curbline Properties funded a portion of its second-quarter activity through its equity capital program. During Q2, the company physically settled 8,404,164 shares that had been previously sold, generating net proceeds of approximately $199.8 million.
Lukes pointed to the company's balance sheet as a continued source of competitive positioning. "Looking forward, we believe Curbline remains uniquely positioned for growth given its differentiated investment focus, the leasing economics of the Company's property type, and its balance sheet," he said.
Convenience Center Strategy in Suburban Markets
Curbline Properties describes itself as an owner and manager of convenience shopping centers positioned on the curbline of well-trafficked intersections and major vehicular corridors in suburban, high-household income communities. The company is structured as a self-managed real estate investment trust.
The company did not disclose specific property locations or individual transaction terms for the Q2 acquisitions.
