550 Madison Avenue is an office tower completed in 1984 and designed by architects Philip Johnson and John Burgee. The building was originally constructed as the headquarters of AT&T and later served as Sony's U.S. headquarters. The building has been designated as an Individual Landmark by New York City's Landmarks Preservation Commission.
The Olayan Group undertook a renovation of the property, led by architecture firm Snøhetta, with amenity levels designed by Rockwell Group. Specific occupancy figures and rentable square footage were not disclosed.
