eQ Group Renews Management Team Under CEO Jouko Pölönen
eQ Plc announced a renewal of its management team effective February 3, 2026, as the Finnish asset management and corporate finance group implements its updated strategy. The Board of Directors appointed the new management team under the leadership of CEO Jouko Pölönen.
The eQ Group's operations and reporting will henceforth consist of two business segments: asset management and corporate finance. This restructuring aims to support the implementation of the company's strategy and the management of the Group, according to the stock exchange release issued February 3, 2026.
Management Team Composition
The renewed management team includes eight members reporting directly to CEO Jouko Pölönen. Key appointments include Tero Estovirta as CEO of eQ Asset Management Ltd, Jacob af Forselles as CEO of Advium Corporate Finance Oy, and functional leaders covering customer relations, human resources, technology, finance, and legal operations.
Within the asset management segment, the business is divided into three areas: Private Equity, Real Estate, and Equity and Fixed Income. Jennifer Eloheimo will lead the Real Estate division, while Staffan Jåfs heads Private Equity and Veli-Pekka Heikkinen oversees Equity and Fixed Income. These division heads serve as members of eQ Asset Management's management team.
The management team includes Kirsi Hokka leading customer relations, Taina Kyllönen overseeing human resources and communications, Arimo Leppä managing technology and development, Antti Lyytikäinen handling finance, and Juha Surve directing legal operations.
The updated strategy of the company has been published on February 3, 2026, coinciding with the management team announcement. eQ Group manages approximately EUR 13.8 billion in assets across its platform.
Corporate Finance Operations
Advium Corporate Finance, part of the eQ Group, provides services related to mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, and equity capital markets. The corporate finance segment operates as one of the two primary business divisions under the new organizational structure.
