WASHINGTON, D.C. — March 24, 2026NorthMarq has added two commercial real estate financing veterans to its Washington, D.C. Debt and Equity team, the firm announced Monday. Jamie Butler joins as managing director and Jason McFadden as senior vice president, expanding NorthMarq's ability to deliver capital solutions to commercial real estate developers and owners nationwide.

Butler brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate financing, having previously led capital markets teams at Walker & Dunlop and CBRE. Over the course of his career, Butler has arranged financing for CRE transactions totaling more than $15 billion and has consistently ranked among the top producers in the Mid-Atlantic region.

"NorthMarq's momentum in the capital markets space is clear," Butler said in a statement. "The firm has built a premium brand with deep relationships across the capital stack and a collaborative platform that allows producers to deliver real value to clients. I'm excited to be part of the next phase of that growth."

Butler will lead a team focused on providing comprehensive solutions across the capital stack, including joint venture equity, mezzanine and bridge capital, and permanent financing.

McFadden joins alongside Butler, having closed more than $4.9 billion in debt and equity financing over the past seven years. He spent more than 12 years at Walker & Dunlop, most recently serving as senior director on the firm's Debt & Equity Structured Finance team.
