StepStone Group Appoints Lindsay Creedon as Head of Private Equity, Effective January 2026

NEW YORK — December 3, 2025 — StepStone Group (Nasdaq: STEP) announced that longtime Partner Lindsay Creedon has been appointed Head of Private Equity, effective January 1, 2026. Creedon joined StepStone in 2010 and was promoted to Partner in 2015.

Leadership Transition at StepStone Group

StepStone CEO Scott Hart, who has held the Head of Private Equity role since 2017, will remain on the Private Equity Investment Committee and continue to support the firm’s global expansion. Creedon currently co-chairs StepStone’s Private Equity Investment Committee, serves as Co-Head of Private Equity Co-Investments, and is a member of the firm’s Global Executive Committee. She will continue in these roles while assuming leadership of the private equity business.

Creedon’s Experience and Firm Contributions

Creedon has played a key role in developing StepStone’s client relationships and investment strategies. She also helped establish and lead the firm’s Talent and Culture Committee, which has supported internal initiatives to strengthen StepStone’s workplace culture. In a statement, Hart said Creedon’s leadership and client relationships make her well-suited for the expanded role.

As of September 30, 2025, StepStone was responsible for approximately $771 billion of total capital, including $209 billion in assets under management. The firm provides customized investment solutions and advisory and data services to institutional and private clients globally across private equity, infrastructure, private debt, and real estate.
