Trammell Crow Company has appointed Dídac Escrivà as Director, Industrial & Logistics Investment in Iberia, the firm announced July 29. Based in Madrid, Escrivà will be responsible for originating and executing industrial and logistics investment opportunities across Spain and Portugal.

Role and Responsibilities

Escrivà's appointment supports the continued expansion of Trammell Crow Company's logistics portfolio in the Iberian Peninsula, following the earlier appointment of Gregg Gilbert to lead the regional platform. In his new role, Escrivà will focus on sourcing, structuring, and executing industrial and logistics investments across both countries.

The hire is part of a series of recent additions to TCC's Iberian team. Miguel Blanco and Cristina Barrio have joined the development management team, while Alonso Dupuy de Lôme has been appointed to the investment team. Together, these hires are intended to bolster TCC's capabilities across sourcing, execution, and delivery as the firm scales its presence in the region.

Escrivà's Background

Escrivà brings experience across industrial development, site origination, and capital markets, with a track record spanning both speculative and build-to-suit logistics projects. He joins Trammell Crow Company from Goodman, where he spent six years as Business Development Manager. In that role, he led the identification, structuring, and delivery of logistics developments across Spain, with a particular focus on Catalunya and the Barcelona region — a market TCC described as one of Spain's most supply-constrained and strategically important logistics markets.

During his tenure at Goodman, Escrivà was involved in the delivery of several logistics schemes in Catalunya, including some of Spain's first multi-level logistics developments. Those projects involved close coordination with occupiers and institutional capital partners on complex, urban-focused developments. Prior to Goodman, he held roles at Cintra and infrastructure group Sacyr.

A civil engineer by training, Escrivà has managed projects across the full development lifecycle, from land sourcing and feasibility through commercial structuring and delivery, working with institutional investors, occupiers, and multidisciplinary project teams.

TCC's Iberian Pipeline

Trammell Crow Company is currently active across four logistics projects in Spain, comprising approximately 55 hectares of land that are expected to deliver around 360,000 square meters of logistics space. The firm's ongoing development activity reflects its continued focus on the Iberian market at a time when demand for modern logistics product in the region remains strong.

The industrial and logistics sector has continued to attract capital as falling new supply, healthy occupier demand, and moderating construction costs have created conditions more favorable for development. In supply-constrained markets such as Catalunya and Barcelona, operators with the ability to source scarce land and structure capital efficiently are seen as particularly well-positioned.

Executive Commentary

Gregg Gilbert, Head of Iberia at Trammell Crow Company, said: "Dídac's appointment adds further depth to our Iberian platform at a time when demand for high-quality logistics space in the region remains strong. His development experience, sector knowledge and local market insight will be invaluable as we continue to grow our logistics pipeline and work with partners to deliver well-located, sustainable assets."

Escrivà said: "TCC has built a strong reputation as a long-term development partner within the logistics sector, both in Spain and across Europe and the United States. I'm excited to join the team and to support the growth of the Iberian platform, working alongside the team to originate and deliver well-located, high-quality logistics developments across Spain and Portugal."
