90 North LLC has announced a long-term lease extension at the North American headquarters of Saint-Gobain, located in Malvern, Pennsylvania. The agreement extends the global building materials manufacturer's commitment to its LEED Platinum-certified campus to close to two decades, according to the firm.

Ownership Relationship

90 North acquired the Malvern property in early 2016 and has maintained an ongoing relationship with Saint-Gobain throughout its ownership tenure. The lease extension represents a continuation of that partnership.

"Our ownership has been working with Saint Gobain since our acquisition of the property in early 2016," said Daniel T. Cooper, Head of North America at 90 North Real Estate Partners LLC. "They are a model Fortune Global 300 company and are also outstanding in the local community. This lease extension reaffirms the long-term strategic importance of the Malvern headquarters to Saint Gobain's North American operations."

Campus Overview and Tenant Profile

Saint-Gobain occupies all three buildings — Buildings 1, 2, and 3 — at the Malvern campus, functioning as the sole tenant of the facility. The campus, which opened in 2015, holds LEED Platinum certification and has been described as a model for environmentally responsible workplace design since its opening.

Saint-Gobain is a Fortune Global 300 company and one of the world's largest manufacturers of building materials. Its North American headquarters in Malvern serves as a central hub for the company's regional operations.

Broker Representation

Newmark Executive Managing Director Craig Scheuerle represented Saint-Gobain in the transaction.

"This renewal underscores Saint Gobain's continued investment in innovation, sustainable construction and its employees," said Scheuerle. "The Malvern headquarters has been a flagship location since its opening in 2015, and this lease extension reaffirms its long-term strategic importance to the organization's North American operations."

Financial terms of the lease extension, including rental rates, square footage, and lease expiration date, were not disclosed.
