90 North has announced the completion of three retail and leisure leases totaling just under 100,000 square feet at The Sauchiehall Building, located at 175-211 Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow, Scotland. The deals involve lease extensions from existing tenants Primark and Superdrug, as well as a new long-term commitment from leisure operator Roxy Leisure.

Lease Details and Tenant Commitments

Primark and Superdrug, both described by 90 North as longstanding tenants within the scheme, have each extended their leases beyond 2026. According to the firm, the extensions will bring both tenants' total occupancy at the property to more than 25 years.

Roxy Leisure, a food, beverage, and bowling operator, will join the scheme under a new long-term lease, bringing an experiential leisure offer to the site.

Adjacent Development Context

The leasing activity at The Sauchiehall Building coincides with a forthcoming development on the same street. The Fusion purpose-built student accommodation project, located directly adjacent to the property, is expected to open in 2027 and will accommodate more than 600 residents. 90 North noted that the development is expected to act as a catalyst for the continued transformation of Sauchiehall Street.

90 North's Asset Management Approach

90 North attributed the lease completions to its hands-on asset management strategy. The firm described the outcomes as the result of close collaboration between landlord and occupiers to support tenant requirements while delivering long-term value.
