Cushman & Wakefield Arranges First U.S. Retail Lease for WeWearAustralian at Prime SoHo Location

NEW YORK, N.Y. — March 20, 2026 — Cushman & Wakefield has arranged a 5,000-square-foot retail lease for WeWearAustralian at 69 Mercer Street in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood, the firm announced. The transaction marks the international retailer's first entry into the United States market.
The space is split across two levels — 2,500 square feet on the ground floor and 2,500 square feet on the lower level — and is situated on a block between Spring and Broome Streets. The landlord is PEP Real Estate. The building is surrounded by boutiques, galleries, and restaurants.
The Deal
A Cushman & Wakefield team comprising Ian Lerner, Ed Nelson, and Alan Wildes represented the tenant, WeWearAustralian, in the transaction. Financial terms of the lease, including rent and lease duration, were not disclosed.

The property at 69 Mercer Street features a private key-locked elevator and is located within minutes of 11 subway lines, including the N, R, Q, A, C, E, 4, 5, and 6 trains.
