Marshalls Opens 31,470-SF Store at Liberty Brooklyn in Sunset Park, RIPCO Real Estate Reps Tenant

Marshalls has opened a 31,470-square-foot store at Liberty Brooklyn, a mixed-use complex at 850 Third Avenue in Brooklyn's Sunset Park neighborhood, according to an announcement from RIPCO Real Estate.
The off-price retailer occupies ground-floor space within the eight-story, 1.3 million-square-foot development.
Deal Details and Brokerage
RIPCO Real Estate Vice Chair Esther Bukai represented Marshalls in the transaction. In a statement provided to Commercial Observer, Bukai described the strategic rationale behind the retailer's decision to commit to the location.
"Marshalls recognized the unique opportunity to establish a flagship presence within one of Brooklyn's fastest-evolving commercial corridors. 850 Third Avenue offers exceptional visibility, strong surrounding demographics, and immediate access to both a growing residential population and an expanding workforce."
Financial terms of the lease were not disclosed.
