Target has signed a 135,000-square-foot retail lease at Rego Center in Rego Park, Queens, according to an announcement from RIPCO Real Estate Real Estate. The transaction was identified by The Real Deal as the largest retail lease signed in New York City during the month of June 2026.

RIPCO Real Estate brokers Benjamin Weiner and Jeffrey Howard represented Target in the transaction. The deal brings one of the country's most widely recognized retailers to a regional shopping center that already counts Costco, Aldi, Burlington, T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, Best Buy, DSW, Five Below, Petco, and DXL among its tenants.

Deal Details and Brokerage

The lease was announced July 14, 2026. Benjamin Weiner and Jeffrey Howard of RIPCO Real Estate handled tenant representation for Target in the transaction. Financial terms of the lease were not disclosed.

The deal's recognition by The Real Deal as the top retail lease in New York City for June 2026 underscores the scale of the commitment relative to other transactions recorded during the month.
