INDIANAPOLISMilhaus, a national developer, owner and operator of Class A multifamily properties, has appointed three new vice presidents to expand its leadership team and strengthen its multifamily real estate operations across Florida and the Southeast, the company announced Dec. 2, 2025.

The appointments include Ephraim E. Grubbs III as vice president of construction, Alfred Rembowski as vice president of development for Florida, and Christin Tenpenny as vice president of operations for property management. Together, the executives bring more than 83 years of combined experience in real estate development, construction, and operations, according to Milhaus.

Florida Growth Focus and Regional Oversight

Rembowski will oversee real estate development in Florida, a key growth market for Milhaus. His background includes managing zoning, permitting, design coordination, and construction for Class A multifamily developments in Florida and the Carolinas. He has worked on more than 8,000 apartments in the Southeast and directly developed more than 3,000 units. Grubbs will provide construction oversight in Kansas City, Columbus, and Pittsburgh while supporting Milhaus’ preconstruction team during bidding. Tenpenny will oversee property management operations across the company’s portfolio.

“Florida’s momentum demands disciplined execution,” Rembowski said. “I’ll draw on experience and recent successes in Orlando and Charlotte to support opportunities across the state and deliver Class A communities that expand Milhaus’ footprint throughout Florida.”

Leadership Expansion

“This strategic expansion of our leadership team raises the bar for how we develop, build and operate across multiple markets,” said Tadd Miller, co-founder and CEO of Milhaus. “Their track records in Florida and across the Southeast will help us gain a stronger foothold in the region, develop faster, deliver consistent quality, and create better outcomes for all stakeholders, from residents to investors.”

Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Indianapolis, Milhaus has developed and manages Class A multifamily communities across multiple U.S. markets. The company said the new appointments strengthen its expertise in development, construction, and operations as it continues to expand in the Southeast.
