Newmark Arranges Sale of 300-Unit Aura Avant Multifamily Asset in Lewisville, Texas
Newmark has arranged the sale of Aura Avant, a 300-unit Class A multifamily community located at 2200 E State Highway 121 in Lewisville, Texas, the firm announced March 26. The seller was Trinsic Residential Group, and the buyer was Cameron Brothers, a San Diego-based, family-owned real estate firm. The sale price was not disclosed. The property has since been rebranded as The Winslow as part of the Cameron Collection.
Transaction Details and Brokerage Team
Newmark Vice Chairmen Brian O'Boyle Jr. and Brian Murphy, along with Executive Managing Director Richard Furr, represented the seller in the transaction. Cameron Brothers, which brings more than 80 years of experience in real estate investment, development, and property operations, made its first acquisition in the Lewisville market with this deal.
Completed in 2024, Aura Avant features institutional-quality construction, premium finishes, and a robust amenity package tailored to today's renter. The property was approximately 92% occupied at the time of sale, reflecting strong lease-up velocity and sustained pricing power, according to Newmark.
"Aura Avant provided investors the opportunity to acquire a trophy Class A asset with exceptional access to major employment hubs and top lifestyle destinations," said O'Boyle Jr. "This luxury property benefits from strong underlying fundamentals and long-term demand drivers, including continued population growth and elevated barriers to new multifamily supply in the immediate area."
Location and Submarket Fundamentals
The property is strategically positioned along State Highway 121, providing direct connectivity to major employment centers including Legacy West, Las Colinas, Plano, and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Residents also benefit from proximity to retail, dining, and entertainment destinations such as Grandscape at The Colony, as well as nearby corporate campuses.
The Lewisville submarket features a concentration of high-income households and employment hubs, which Newmark cited as reinforcing the asset's positioning within the upper tier of North Texas multifamily offerings. The submarket's elevated barriers to new multifamily supply were also highlighted as a long-term demand driver for the property.
Multifamily Real Estate Market Context
According to Newmark Research, U.S. multifamily transaction volume reached $165.5 billion in 2025, up 9.4% year-over-year, as capital continues to target high-growth markets across the Sunbelt.
Cameron Brothers' entry into the Lewisville market marks a geographic expansion for the firm, which has operated for more than eight decades across investment, development, and property operations. The rebranding of the asset as The Winslow, part of the Cameron Collection, signals the buyer's intent to integrate the property into its broader portfolio identity.
