Rockpoint Group and Urby Form Joint Venture to Develop 69-Story Luxury Tower on Jersey City Waterfront
Rockpoint Group Group and Urby have formed a joint venture to develop 201 Hudson – by Urby, a 69-story luxury residential tower at 201 Hudson Street on the Jersey City waterfront, the firms announced July 8, 2026.
Dan Domb, Managing Member and Chief Operating Officer at Rockpoint, discussed the venture with Commercial Observer.
Project Details
The planned tower will contain 748 apartments. At 69 stories, the building is positioned to be among the tallest residential towers on the Jersey City waterfront. Additional project specifications, including unit mix, retail space, and parking, were not disclosed in the available sources.
Rockpoint's Jersey City Presence
The 201 Hudson joint venture follows Rockpoint's involvement with The Morgan at Provost Square, a 417-unit multifamily property at 160 Morgan Street in Jersey City. Both assets are situated in the Jersey City Waterfront submarket.
