Stream Data Centers Names Scott Greubel EVP of Construction
Stream Data Centers has named Scott Greubel Executive Vice President of Construction, the company announced April 15, 2026. Greubel, who is based in Morgan Hill, California, joined the firm in late March and will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Michael Lahoud.
In his new role, Greubel will focus on strengthening and scaling Stream's construction leadership and operational disciplines to meet what the company describes as rapidly growing demands from its hyperscale customers. He will work closely with Stream's Construction Organization and collaborate across Legal, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations.
From DPR Construction to Stream Data Centers
Greubel brings more than 25 years of executive experience at DPR Construction, where he served as a Regional Manager in the Bay Area, overseeing large, complex technical and remote projects. He built his first data center in 1999 while managing construction of an Intel fabrication facility — an engagement that evolved into an adjacent data center project.
During his tenure at DPR Construction, Greubel worked alongside several individuals now at Stream Data Centers, including members of the firm's construction and leadership teams.
Prior to his full-time appointment, Greubel had already been contributing to Stream's growth. He came out of retirement to serve as an independent consultant, partnering with Stream's construction team over the past several years to lead programs and provide coaching across the organization. His full-time hire formalizes a relationship that had already been in place.
"It's a company like Stream to bring me out of retirement — and I'm happy to be here," Greubel said, according to the company announcement.
Background and Personal
CEO Michael Lahoud announced the appointment internally, noting that Greubel's prior consulting role with the firm made him a familiar presence within the organization before his full-time hire.
Greubel is currently recovering from a 2024 bicycle accident. He lives in Morgan Hill with his wife and high school sweetheart, Kathlyn, and their three cats. His two adult children and a grandchild also reside nearby.
Stream Data Centers is a developer and owner-operator of data center facilities serving hyperscale and enterprise customers.
