Trammell Crow Company Names Dan Rees Head of UK Logistics, Adds Tim Bradshaw to Bolster Industrial Real Estate Platform
Trammell Crow Company has appointed Dan Rees as Head of UK Logistics and Tim Bradshaw as Vice President, Development Management, the firm announced April 29, reinforcing its industrial real estate platform as it seeks to scale its presence across core UK markets.
Leadership Appointments Reflect TCC's UK Industrial Real Estate Ambitions
Trammell Crow Company, a commercial real estate developer, said the appointments reflect its intention to deploy capital "selectively but decisively" in the UK logistics market. The firm cited its ability to self-fund, structure partnerships flexibly, and draw on a pan-European platform as key advantages as it pursues additional well-located industrial and logistics opportunities.
Dan Rees, who joined TCC in 2023, will now lead the firm's UK logistics strategy, encompassing capital origination, partnerships, and development oversight. Prior to his expanded role, Rees co-founded Candour alongside Toby Pentecost, a UK workspace development partner that built a portfolio of approximately 850,000 square feet of Grade A commercial projects with a gross development value exceeding £850 million. Candour was acquired by TCC in 2023. Earlier in his career, Rees held senior roles at private equity firms Orion Capital Managers and Brockton Capital, completing transactions of more than £1 billion across UK real estate.
"TCC has built strong foundations in the UK, underpinned by a robust balance sheet and deep relationships with institutional capital partners in the UK and across Europe," Rees said in a statement. "That gives us the ability to self-fund where appropriate and to structure deals flexibly, whether through direct acquisition, joint venture or alternative capital solutions. As the UK logistics market evolves, I'm excited to lead the team and work closely with partners to unlock well-located opportunities and continue scaling the platform."
Tim Bradshaw Joins to Strengthen Development Execution
Alongside the Rees appointment, Tim Bradshaw has joined TCC as Vice President, Development Management. In this role, Bradshaw will oversee logistics and industrial developments from feasibility through construction completion, with a focus on consistent execution across TCC's UK portfolio.
Bradshaw brings more than 15 years of experience in construction and real estate development, with expertise spanning design coordination, budgeting, program management, procurement, and risk mitigation. Prior to joining TCC, he held senior development roles at Kurv Industrial and Oxenwood Real Estate, delivering complex logistics schemes across the UK. Earlier in his career, he worked in project and site management roles at Peel Ports Group and Balfour Beatty. He holds a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of Liverpool.
"In the current market, delivery certainty matters," Bradshaw said. "Using my background in the planning, technical delivery and execution of complex industrial schemes across the UK, my focus is on ensuring TCC can move quickly and decisively from concept through to completion. Combined with the firm's capital strength and pan-European platform, we are well placed to offer agents and landowners a highly credible and dependable development partner."
TCC's UK Industrial Real Estate Footprint and Pipeline
Since entering the UK market in 2021, Trammell Crow Company has acquired logistics sites in Sheffield, Milton Keynes, and Heywood near Manchester. The UK logistics platform operates within TCC's broader European business, which comprises nearly £3 billion of gross development value across 29 projects spanning the UK, Germany, France, and Spain.
Toby Pentecost, who co-founded Candour alongside Rees, continues to lead TCC's UK offices platform, with the two executives now overseeing the firm's dual-track UK strategy across logistics and office real estate development.
