CBRE Group, Inc. (NYSE: CBRE) announced that Anuj Kadyan will join the firm as Chief Technology & Transformation Officer on May 15, 2026, bringing nearly two decades of technology strategy and AI transformation experience from McKinsey & Company.
A McKinsey Veteran Steps Into a New Role
Kadyan currently serves as a senior partner at McKinsey & Company, where he co-leads the firm's Technology Services practice. He has also led large-scale technology and AI transformations for major companies across multiple industries.
Prior to his current role, Kadyan led McKinsey's Telecom, Media & Tech Practice in India and served as managing partner of the Gurugram office. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor's degree in engineering from the National Institute of Technology in India.
"CBRE will benefit significantly from Anuj's extensive experience across technology, transformation and strategy. This combination will be especially powerful in helping us to further differentiate our products and to operate our business more efficiently," said Robert E. Sulentic, CBRE's chair and chief executive officer.
Kadyan on Joining CBRE
Kadyan framed his decision to join CBRE in terms of the firm's data and scale advantages. "This is an exciting time to be joining CBRE," he said. "Data, insight and scale — combined with the right strategy — are attributes that will define success in the future. CBRE is the sector leader across all these attributes, and I look forward to working with the team to help the company fully capitalize on them to drive growth and great client outcomes."
