The buyer, Pacolet Milliken, served as the project’s limited partner and acquired the property following its full-building lease to Amazon earlier in the fall, according to the companies.
Industrial Real Estate Transaction in Charlotte
The sale represents a disposition within the 1.5 million-square-foot Rapid Commerce Park, which offers access to Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Interstate 485, and Interstate 85. From this location, tenants can reach more than half of the U.S. population within a one-day drive and about three-quarters within two days, positioning the facility as a logistics hub for manufacturing and distribution users across the East Coast.
Amazon Lease and Market Context
Amazon’s full-building lease was described as one of the Charlotte region’s most significant industrial leases of 2025 and is expected to generate hundreds of direct and indirect jobs tied to logistics, distribution, and related services. The lease highlights continued demand for large-scale industrial facilities in the Charlotte market.
