DHS Real Estate Investment Management has acquired the office building at Alexanderveld 5-9 in The Hague through a share deal structure, the Amsterdam-based investment manager announced July 13, 2026. The transaction was financed through private capital, with DHS Real Estate Investment Management acting as a co-investor alongside capital partners NLInvesteert and EuroZaken. Debt financing was provided by Deutsche Hypo.

NL Real Estate advised the seller on a commercial basis. DHS Real Estate Investment Management was advised on legal matters by Dentons and on technical due diligence by Amstelius.

Asset Overview: A+ Energy Label, Full Occupancy in The Hague's Archipel District

The property comprises approximately 7,000 square meters of lettable floor area and is located at Alexanderveld 5-9 in The Hague's Archipel district, near the Peace Palace and the city centre. The building holds an A+ energy label and is fully leased to two tenants: the Dutch Government, represented through Rijksvastgoedbedrijf, the Central Government Real Estate Agency, and Bergman Clinics.

Deal Structure: Share Deal With Private Capital Stack

The acquisition was structured as a share deal. DHS Real Estate Investment Management participated as a co-investor, with funding arranged in collaboration with NLInvesteert and EuroZaken. Debt financing was provided by Deutsche Hypo.

No transaction price, loan amount or cap rate was disclosed.

The transaction reflects what DHS Real Estate Investment Management described as the growing role of private capital in the Dutch real estate market, where specialist investors are increasingly involved in financing high-quality real estate investments.
