SYDNEY — Lendlease has officially opened Victoria Cross Tower, North Sydney's newest commercial office development, with first tenants now occupying the building and a growing mix of retail, hospitality, and wellness offerings active across the precinct, the company announced March 12, 2026.

Leasing Momentum at Victoria Cross Tower

Independent healthcare company Vantive is the latest business to sign a lease at the tower, bringing total leasing to over 40 percent of the building. An additional approximately 40 percent of space is described as under negotiation or in active discussion, according to Lendlease. Vantive joins NBN Co, Ventas, and Novartis ANZ as tenants that have relocated to the North Sydney address.

"Victoria Cross Tower has entered its next chapter as we welcome tenants and the precinct continues to thrive and evolve around it," said Daniel Baxter, Executive Director Development NSW/ACT at Lendlease. "With direct access to the metro, workers enjoy faster, seamless connections across the city, alongside stunning harbour views that make it one of Sydney's most accessible and attractive commercial locations."

Retail and Hospitality Offerings Expand Across the Precinct

Since the opening of Sydney Metro's Victoria Cross Station in 2024, 14 retail and commercial offerings have opened across the precinct's concourse and laneway, including a 24/7 gym and wellness facility called One Playground. Five additional retailers are scheduled to open mid-year.

Adding to the hospitality component of the development is The Fold, a flagship café operated by social enterprise Two Good Co. Located in the lobby on Level 2 of the commercial tower, the space was designed by award-winning interior design studio Fiona Lynch Office. According to Lendlease, the design aims to deliver a boutique-hotel arrival experience for tenants and visitors.

"We've always believed food has the power to change the course of someone's life," said Rob Caslick, Founder of Two Good Co. "With The Fold and The Landing, we're embedding that impact directly into the workplace. It's hospitality designed for humanity, where everyday rituals create real pathways to independence."

Two Good Co will also operate The Landing, a flexible, bookable multi-functional space within the lobby intended for events, community connection, and co-working. The organisation will additionally manage the building's concierge service. Half of all Two Good Co profits are reinvested into employment pathways for women rebuilding their lives after homelessness and domestic violence, according to the announcement.

Sustainability and Wellness Certifications

Victoria Cross Tower was designed by architecture firm BatesSmart and constructed and developed by Lendlease. The fully electric tower has achieved a Platinum WELL Shell and Core rating and a 6 Star Green Star Design rating from the Green Building Council of Australia. The building is targeting a 5.5 Star NABERS Energy rating.

"As a premium office asset, Victoria Cross Tower brings together the highest standards of sustainability, wellness, integrated transport and exceptional design — elements that matter most to employers looking to create engaging, high-performing workplaces for their people," Baxter said.

"We take pride in delivering high-quality workplaces that prioritise sustainability and social responsibility, and our long-standing partnership with Two Good Co reflects this shared commitment to purpose-led placemaking," Baxter added.
