MARK Capital Management Names Claire Haddon Head of Asset Management for Crossbay Urban Logistics Platform
MARK Capital Management, an independent pan-European real estate investment and asset manager, has appointed Claire Haddon as Head of Asset Management for Crossbay, its urban logistics investment strategy. Haddon joins from Oxenwood Real Estate, a pan-European vertically integrated logistics specialist, where she served in the same capacity overseeing a portfolio of approximately 181,000 square meters.
Crossbay's Portfolio Reaches 857,000 Square Meters
Crossbay currently manages an 857,000 square meter pan-European portfolio composed predominantly of single-user urban distribution centers located within major gateway cities. Since its launch in 2018, the Crossbay strategy has deployed in excess of €2 billion and managed 1.5 million square meters of European urban logistics assets on behalf of a global investor base.
The appointment follows recent hires at both Crossbay and MARK Capital Management, including Rodney Hunt as a UK Vice President at Crossbay and Nnes Ajukwu as a Senior Associate in the Client Solutions team at MARK Capital Management.
Haddon Brings Broad Acquisitions and Asset Management Experience
Prior to her role at Oxenwood Real Estate, Haddon served as a Director at Ciel Capital, a boutique asset and investment manager specializing in hotels. Before that, she spent more than six years at M7 Real Estate as an Acquisitions and Investment Manager, where she completed over €1 billion of predominantly industrial real estate transactions across major European markets. She began her career as a Valuation Surveyor at global real estate advisory firm Colliers, which included a secondment to the HSBC Real Estate team. Her experience spans acquisitions, asset and investment management, and debt structuring.
"Crossbay's disciplined focus on urban distribution centers, a naturally fragmented and granular asset class, requires a best-in-class asset management function to successfully oversee a scaling portfolio," said Marco Riva, Crossbay CEO. "Hiring the right talent, while continuing to leverage our proprietary insights and data, is key to that mission. We look forward to working closely with Claire as we continue to grow our presence across core European markets."
Haddon commented on her appointment: "Crossbay has assembled a high-performing team and an excellent track record. I look forward to building on the strategy's success to date, working closely in partnership with our network of in-country specialists that cover the entire asset lifecycle and strive to deliver value for our occupiers and investors each day."
MARK Capital Management Active Across Multifamily, Retail, and Development
Beyond Crossbay, MARK Capital Management maintains an active presence in multifamily real estate, retail real estate, and urban repurposing through its development platform, Assembly.
