LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Onyx+East, a full-service homebuilder, has announced the acquisition of 31.9 acres in Liberty Township, Ohio, for the development of Parkmont, a planned 90-home single-family for-sale community located north of Cincinnati. The firm announced the transaction on June 8, 2026, with construction expected to begin in summer 2026 and home sales slated to launch in spring 2027.
The development is situated along the Hamilton Mason Road corridor in Liberty Township, placing it within minutes of Liberty Center, a mixed-use shopping and entertainment destination. The acquisition marks the latest expansion of Onyx+East's presence in Ohio's residential market.
Parkmont: Site, Scale, and Community Program
Planned across 31.9 acres, Parkmont will deliver 90 single-family homes in a walkable neighborhood layout. According to the firm, the project is designed to prioritize shared green space, courtyard layouts, and community-focused amenities alongside the residential units.
Homes at Parkmont will feature a minimum of three bedrooms, 10-foot ceilings, and between 1,862 and 2,900 square feet of finished living space. The firm noted that buyers will have access to a range of personalization options, including optional first-floor primary suites, floor plan variations, and basement additions ranging from 925 to 1,700 square feet. Upgraded outdoor living areas will also be available.
Community amenities are planned to include pickleball courts, walking trails, a pavilion, and fire-pit gathering spaces. The development's courtyard layouts are designed to incorporate shared green spaces and outdoor areas intended to encourage neighbor interaction, according to the firm's announcement.
Onyx+East described Parkmont's target buyer profile as broad, encompassing families, professionals, and empty nesters seeking lower-maintenance living in a connected suburban setting.
Development Strategy and Ohio Expansion
Parkmont represents the latest step in Onyx+East's development activity across Ohio. The builder previously launched Everly, a mixed-use community in Cincinnati, and is currently developing several communities throughout the Columbus region, including The Village at Alton Place in Hilliard.
The firm's build schedule — with land now acquired, vertical construction targeted for summer 2026, and sales introduction set for spring 2027 — positions Parkmont for delivery into what the company characterized as a market with continued demand for new housing options in Liberty Township.
