SEGRO Expands Wrocław Awicenny Logistics Park With Milkrite InterPuls Pre-Let
SEGRO has begun expanding its SEGRO Centre Wrocław, Awicenny logistics park in Poland, with the development anchored by a pre-let agreement with Milkrite InterPuls, the company announced July 16, 2026. The expansion will add nearly 6,000 square metres of new space to the existing facility, of which 2,200 square metres will be made available to other tenants, with delivery expected this autumn.
Milkrite InterPuls Expands Footprint at Awicenny
Milkrite InterPuls, owned by DeLaval Holding B.V., has been the first tenant at SEGRO Centre Wrocław, Awicenny since 2022, currently occupying nearly 7,400 square metres. The Wrocław site is one of three European locations for Milkrite InterPuls and its only facility in Central Europe.
Milkrite InterPuls, which has more than 100 years of experience in the manufacture, supply and servicing of milking equipment and integrated herd management systems, cited order volume growth and operational familiarity with the site as key drivers of the decision to expand in place.
"Wrocław is one of our three European sites and the only one in Central Europe. Expanding the scale of our operations is a natural step in the company's growth strategy," said Steve Wild, Project Manager at Milkrite InterPuls. "The opportunity to expand at a site we know and trust, and to work with the SEGRO team, who understand our needs, were key factors in our decision. The additional space at SEGRO Centre Wrocław, Awicenny, will provide us with the capacity we need to handle the growing number of orders."
Park Location and Specifications
SEGRO Centre Wrocław, Awicenny is situated approximately 8.5 kilometres from the city centre, making it suited for last-mile logistics and service operations. Both the existing facility and its extension are designed to meet BREEAM New Construction certification at the Excellent level. Sustainability features at the park include 100 percent of energy sourced from renewable sources, LED lighting, electric vehicle charging points, and automatic number plate recognition systems.
SEGRO's Comments on the Expansion
Bartosz Michalski, Director of Logistics for Poland at SEGRO, said the expansion reflects both the quality of the landlord-tenant relationship and the broader appeal of the Awicenny location. "The decision by our first client in the park, Awicenna, to expand its premises after four years at SEGRO Centre Wrocław confirms the attractiveness of this location and the high quality of our partnership," Michalski said. "Thanks to the possibility of extending the existing facility, we are able to support the growth of Milkrite's operations whilst also responding to market needs by offering new space available to other companies."
SEGRO described the expansion as demonstrating "the flexibility of its portfolio in supporting clients as their operational needs evolve."
