SEGRO has signed a lease with Monoprix for approximately 1,300 square meters at its SEGRO Centre Paris Les Gobelins urban logistics hub, located in the Olympiades neighborhood of Paris's 13th arrondissement, the company announced July 16, 2026. Real estate consulting firm EOL, a Dils company specializing in industrial, logistics and commercial properties, advised on the transaction.

Satellite Warehouse to Supply Central Paris Stores

Monoprix will use the leased unit as a satellite warehouse to supply two of its Paris stores — one in Beaugrenelle in the 15th arrondissement and another in Saint-Michel in the 5th arrondissement. The arrangement is designed to bring part of the retailer's supply chain closer to its retail locations, according to SEGRO.

From the Gobelins facility, textile and home goods are delivered in packaged form from Monoprix's central warehouse. The retailer's teams then prepare the goods on-site before transporting them directly to stores via daily shuttle runs operated by light commercial vehicles.

The unit features a loading dock accessible to 19-metric-ton trucks and two ground-level access doors, infrastructure that SEGRO says supports the organization of logistics flows tailored to the needs of a retail chain operating in a dense city center environment.

A Rare Inner-City Logistics Asset

SEGRO Centre Paris Les Gobelins is located in the immediate vicinity of the city's major thoroughfares. The site spans a total of 75,000 square meters, including 50,000 square meters of flexible rental space. It operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is described by SEGRO as capable of supporting retail, e-commerce, transportation, urban logistics, services, bike logistics and off-site warehousing uses.

SEGRO noted that logistics real estate is becoming increasingly scarce in the heart of major metropolitan areas, characterizing the Gobelins site as a rare asset within Paris.

Laurence Giard, Managing Director France at SEGRO, said: "Monoprix's arrival at the SEGRO Centre Paris Les Gobelins is a very concrete demonstration of the role that urban logistics can play in the performance of downtown retail. By enabling an iconic brand that is part of Parisians' daily lives to bring its inventory closer to its stores, our site proves its operational value. Les Gobelins is a rare real estate asset within Paris that supports business performance and new logistics models that are closer to the city, more agile and better adapted to urban constraints."

Growing Tenant Roster at Gobelins Hub

The Monoprix lease follows earlier agreements with DB Schenker, through its subsidiary Les Triporteurs Français, and a major Chinese e-commerce player, according to SEGRO. The company said the arrival of Monoprix confirms the appeal of the site to companies with complementary profiles committed to transforming their urban logistics models.

The transaction was completed with the assistance of EOL, a Dils company, which provided real estate consulting services on the deal.
