Telford Living, the European residential development arm of Trammell Crow Company, has appointed Craig Flanders as Director of Asset Management to lead the company's commercial and operational asset management strategy across its growing portfolio.

The appointment, announced February 13, strengthens leadership as the firm expands across UK living sectors. Flanders will focus specifically on the Chrisp Street Market regeneration project, alongside strategic input across the company's wider mixed-use schemes.

Retail Real Estate Expertise for Mixed-Use Development

Flanders joins Telford Living with nearly 15 years of experience managing mixed-use and retail assets. His background includes curating commercial environments that support both independent businesses and global retail brands.

Before joining Telford Living, Flanders held senior roles at Landsec and Network Rail, where he managed premier retail destinations including Bluewater and Gunwharf Quays. He also oversaw key London portfolios and regeneration projects including W12 Shepherd's Bush and Lewisham Shopping Centre.

A Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and graduate of the University of Reading with a BSc in Real Estate, Flanders brings a track record of driving asset performance and tenant engagement to his new role.

Strategic Focus on Real Estate Development Pipeline

Alex Taylor, Senior Vice President and Head of Telford Living, said the appointment marks an important step in strengthening the company's commercial and operational capabilities as it continues to scale across the living sectors.

"His broad experience in creating compelling, high-performing mixed-use environments will be invaluable, particularly as we accelerate our work at Chrisp Street Market and across our wider pipeline," Taylor said.

Telford Living's current pipeline exceeds 2,500 units across build-to-rent, purpose-built student accommodation, and co-living projects.
