LAKELAND, Fla. — June 15, 2026Anchor Health Properties has completed an 80,000-square-foot medical outpatient building (MOB) on the Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital campus, marking a milestone in healthcare real estate development in central Florida. The MOB opened its doors to patients on June 15, 2026, bringing a range of multi-specialty outpatient services to the region.

Location and Facility Design

Located at 4060 Lakeland Highlands Road, the new facility sits on the Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital campus in Lakeland, Florida. According to Anchor Health Properties, the building was purposefully designed as a community anchor intended to bring outpatient services closer to where patients live and work, supporting more convenient and connected care across what the firm described as "Florida's heartland."

The facility is designed to complement inpatient and acute care services at the adjacent hospital, with Watson Clinic physicians holding privileges across both campus locations. The firm stated this arrangement is intended to support a more integrated experience for patients from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up care.

Development Services

Orlando Health and Watson Clinic engaged Anchor Health Properties to serve as their development partner for the project. Anchor Health Properties provided end-to-end development services, including financing, planning and programming, oversight of design and construction, and post-occupancy commissioning.

"Today is a meaningful milestone for everyone involved in this project," said Will Foster, Senior Development Director with Anchor Health Properties. "This facility is the result of true partnership and a shared commitment to expanding access to care in a way that is thoughtful, patient-focused, and rooted in the needs of the Lakeland community. As someone who lives and works here, it's incredibly rewarding to see this vision come to life alongside our partners."

Regionally based firms with healthcare facility experience served on the project team. HuntonBrady, described as an award-winning architecture and interior design firm, and Hoar Construction, described as a prominent, privately held construction company, were among the firms involved in delivering the project.
