LOS ANGELES — CIM Group announced March 19, 2026, that Moshe Bajnon has joined the firm as Global Client Group President and Co-Head, while Jason Fisher has been appointed to the same role with expanded responsibilities. The dual leadership structure is designed to scale CIM's investor relations and capital-raising capabilities across both institutional and private wealth channels as demand for the firm's alternative investment strategies continues to grow.

CIM Group Restructures Global Client Group Under Dual Leadership

The appointments position Bajnon and Fisher to jointly oversee a team of 75 professionals within CIM's Global Client Group. Together, they will be responsible for deepening existing investor relationships and expanding CIM's reach across wealth management and institutional platforms. CIM Group is a community-focused real estate and infrastructure owner, operator, lender, and developer that has delivered more than $60 billion of essential real estate and infrastructure projects since its founding in 1994.

"Moshe and Jason's appointments demonstrate CIM's deep commitment to serving both our institutional and private wealth clients," said Avi Shemesh, Co-Founder and Principal of CIM Group. "We continue to extend meaningful resources to our client platform and infrastructure, building on the same foundation that has supported our asset management capabilities for more than 30 years."

The firm cited continued growth in its investor base and increased demand from private wealth channels as primary drivers for the leadership restructuring.

Bajnon Brings Wealth Distribution Expertise from Nuveen and Ares

Bajnon, who will be based in New York City, joins CIM from Nuveen Private Capital, where he served as Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Private Wealth, as well as Co-Head of the Investor Services Group. Prior to Nuveen, he was a Partner and Co-Head of the Private Wealth Group at Ares Management, and held senior positions at Trian Partners and Morgan Stanley.

Described in the announcement as a recognized pioneer in building and growing global wealth distribution platforms, Bajnon's background reflects CIM's intent to expand access to its investment products through the wealth channel.

"I am excited to join CIM Group at such a pivotal time in the firm's growth," Bajnon said. "CIM has built a diversified, global platform with strong momentum across its real estate, infrastructure, and credit strategies. I look forward to working closely with Avi, Jason and the breadth of the CIM team to broaden access to our products and deliver institutional-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of advisors and their clients."

His elevation to President and Co-Head of the broader Global Client Group reflects the firm's recognition of his contributions to institutional capital-raising efforts.
