NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Chicago-based developer LG Group announced that its 1740 Division residential tower in Nashville has topped out, with general contractor Brasfield & Gorrie completing the full 20-story structural frame. The milestone marks a significant construction benchmark for the 396-unit apartment project, which is expected to deliver by the end of 2026.

Project Details: 396 Apartments and Music-Focused Amenities

When complete, 1740 Division will add 396 apartments to Nashville's urban core at 1740 Division St. The development will be supported by a 444-space open-air parking facility. The amenity program includes a green rooftop terrace with a pool and lounge, coworking and social spaces, and a fitness center.

The project is also designed to reflect Nashville's musical identity. Dedicated podcast booths, a recording studio, and rehearsal space will be incorporated into the building's programming and made accessible to both residents and the public, according to LG Group.

NORR is serving as the project architect. Brasfield & Gorrie, which has operated in Nashville since 1998 and counts more than 550 Tennessee projects, is the general contractor of record.

"Getting to this point takes a lot of hard work from a lot of people. We celebrate this milestone to recognize the effort behind such a detailed project," said Dan Armour, vice president and division manager at Brasfield & Gorrie. "From residential units to shared community spaces, this tower brings together the elements that shape urban living in Nashville."

Timeline and Completion

The topping-out of the structural frame in May 2026 positions 1740 Division for a targeted completion by the end of 2026, according to LG Group and Brasfield & Gorrie. The project's music-oriented programming — including the recording studio and rehearsal space open to the public — is designed to integrate the building into Nashville's musical heritage. No financial terms or development cost figures for 1740 Division were disclosed by LG Group.
