Newmark Hires Cate Agnew as Managing Director Within Global Data Center Valuation Practice

Newmark has hired Cate Agnew, MAI, CRE, FRICS as Managing Director within its Valuation & Advisory Data Centers & Life Science Specialty Practice, the firm announced March 2. In her new role, Agnew will lead quality assurance initiatives, advance institutional best practices and oversee technical reviews of complex valuation assignments as demand for mission-critical digital infrastructure continues to grow.

Role and Responsibilities Within Newmark's Data Center Advisory Platform

Agnew's appointment supports Newmark's rapidly expanding global data center advisory capabilities. Her responsibilities will include ensuring that data center valuation deliverables meet technical and institutional standards.

Agnew's Background: Three Decades Spanning Debt, Equity and Institutional Governance

Agnew brings more than 30 years of experience spanning the full real estate lifecycle, including U.S. and international properties across both debt and equity platforms. Prior to joining Newmark, she served as Chief Review Appraiser for major global financial institutions, including Natixis and Bank of America. She also held senior risk and advisory roles at firms including TIAA and Cornerstone Group Real Estate.

Her professional credentials include the MAI designation, the FRICS designation as a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and the CRE certification. Agnew has served on the RICS Americas World Regional Board, the Valuation Professional Group Panel and the Finance Committee.
