HOUSTON — Transwestern announced April 6 that its Investments group has been appointed asset manager for KORE US REIT, a portfolio comprising 13 office properties totaling approximately 4.8 million square feet across eight markets with an aggregate asset value of approximately $1.3 billion.

The appointment expands Transwestern's existing role with the REIT. The firm currently serves as services provider for 12 of the 13 assets in the portfolio, delivering property management, accounting, and leasing services. Those properties are located in Bellevue/Redmond, Sacramento, Denver, Orlando, Houston, Austin, and Dallas.

Expanding an Eight-Year Partnership

According to the firm, Transwestern has served as a trusted partner for these assets for nearly eight years. The new asset management mandate layers investment management responsibilities onto the existing services relationship, positioning Transwestern to help execute KORE's long-term strategy for the portfolio.

"The Transwestern Services team has a long history of providing property management and leasing services for these assets," said Charles Hazen, President of Transwestern Investments. "Our newly expanded role allows us to bring Transwestern's integrated investment management capabilities to help execute the long-term strategy for the REIT."

Chip Clarke, Chief Revenue Officer of Transwestern Services, echoed that sentiment. "For nearly eight years, Transwestern has been a trusted partner for these assets," Clarke said. "Today, we're proud to expand this relationship and harness the full strength of our platform to help our client achieve its goals."

Portfolio Markets

The KORE US REIT portfolio spans eight markets. The 12 assets for which Transwestern provides services are located in Bellevue/Redmond, Sacramento, Denver, Orlando, Houston, Austin, and Dallas. The portfolio totals approximately 4.8 million square feet of office space across all 13 properties.
