Transwestern Development Company Names Scott Henderson EVP of Development in Philadelphia

Transwestern Development Company announced Jan. 26 that Scott Henderson, SIOR, has joined the firm's National Logistics Group as Executive Vice President of Development. Based in Philadelphia, Henderson will generate logistics development opportunities across Northeastern markets including Central Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Maryland, Southern New Jersey, Boston, and Virginia.

Logistics Development Experience

Henderson brings more than 25 years of logistics experience in the Northeast to Transwestern Development Company. Prior to joining the firm, he served as Senior Vice President and Northeast Market Officer at Outrigger Industrial, where he led market strategy and deal pipeline generation.

Previously, Henderson held the position of Vice President of Leasing and Development for Duke Realty, where he grew the company's Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey industrial portfolio through new development and investments. He has also held senior-level positions at Nappen & Associates, a Philadelphia-based industrial real estate development firm, and at Newmark and Cushman & Wakefield.

National Logistics Group

Professional Background

Henderson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Arizona and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation. He is a member of NAIOP and a former treasurer of the SIOR Philadelphia Chapter.
