Walker & Dunlop Arranges $43M Refinancing for Student Housing Near Georgia Tech

Walker & Dunlop has arranged a $43 million interest-only bridge loan for The Hive, a newly opened 307-bed student housing community located at 566 Centennial Olympic Park Drive NW in Midtown Atlanta, adjacent to the Georgia Tech campus. Dezure Development is the borrower, with Israel Leiner leading the Walker & Dunlop team on the transaction.

Property Details

The Hive comprises 100 fully furnished units and opened in fall 2025. The student housing community features amenities including study lounges, fitness facilities, a courtyard with an infinity pool, and a rooftop lounge.
