Associated Bank Provides $18M Acquisition Loan for 203,500-SF Omaha Industrial Building

OMAHA, Neb. — Associated Bank has completed an $18 million acquisition loan to Storz Warehouse for the purchase of a 203,500-square-foot industrial building at 592 North 9th Street in Omaha, Nebraska, the bank announced March 13, 2026. The commercial real estate financing also covers the City of Omaha's tax increment financing (TIF) note associated with the project.
The sponsor behind the real estate acquisition is SR Realty Trust, Inc. (SRRT), a private non-listed real estate investment trust managed by Twin Cities-based commercial real estate firm Schafer Richardson. Founded in 1995, Schafer Richardson describes itself as a vertically integrated commercial real estate company. SR Realty Trust was formed in 2014 to invest in a diversified portfolio of stable, institutional-quality commercial real estate assets.
Loan Details and Transaction Team
John Rent, a senior vice president with Associated Bank's Minneapolis Commercial Real Estate office, managed the loan arrangements and closing. Tony Carlson and Jeff Witt of Colliers Debt and Structured Finance brokered the financing for the transaction.
In addition to the $18 million senior debt facility, Associated Bank also financed the City of Omaha's TIF note tied to the project. No sale price, loan-to-value ratio, interest rate, or loan term was disclosed in the announcement.
