Colliers Expands South Carolina Presence with 50-Person Charleston Real Estate Acquisition
Colliers South Carolina has completed a significant real estate acquisition, adding a 50-person commercial brokerage team formerly with Lee & Associates, LLC. The expansion positions Colliers as the largest commercial real estate service provider in South Carolina with more than 225 professionals statewide.
This real estate development strengthens Colliers' market presence in Charleston, where the firm now manages 31 million square feet of property, oversees more than $1.3 billion in construction projects through its partner project management company LCK, and maintains an annual transactional volume exceeding $1.5 billion.
Real Estate Acquisition Details
The Charleston team, founded in 1999 as Anchor Commercial, brings 26 years of local market expertise to Colliers South Carolina. Bob Nuttall, Milton Thomas and Reid Davis, founding principals of the Charleston operation, will transition to Managing Director roles at Colliers, maintaining continuity in leadership and client relationships.
"This is a defining moment for our firm," said David Feild, President and CEO of Colliers South Carolina. "This addition meaningfully advances our vision to build the most capable, client-focused commercial real estate platform in the state, and we look forward to achieving this mission together."
Effective immediately, all 50 real estate professionals transitioned into corresponding roles at Colliers South Carolina. The firm appointed Wade Allen as Broker-in-Charge for the Charleston operations.
Enhanced Service Capabilities
Charleston clients will continue working with the same local professionals while gaining access to expanded resources through Colliers' statewide platform. The integration provides clients with specialized expertise in capital markets, valuation and advisory services including mortgage services, development advisory services for corporate solutions, and project management services through Colliers' partner LCK.
"Over the past 26 years, we've built something we're incredibly proud of, a firm that puts clients first and invests in its people and community," said Bob Nuttall. "Joining forces with Colliers allows us to build on that foundation and amplify it across South Carolina. Our clients will continue working with the same trusted team, now supported by expanded resources and statewide expertise."
