LONDON — JLL has announced that Andrew Frost, its current Head of UK Capital Markets, will become Chairman of its UK business effective March 31, 2026, with Julian Sandbach stepping up to lead UK Capital Markets and John Woodger assuming the role of Head of Central London Capital Markets.

Leadership Transition at JLL UK

Frost joined JLL in 2011 as part of the King Sturge acquisition and has spent the past six years leading the firm's UK Capital Markets division. In his new role as Chairman, he will focus on client partnerships and deploying the breadth of JLL's UK capabilities across its client base. The firm said he has been central to introducing new service offerings, deepening client relationships, and integrating the firm's technological innovations during his tenure.

"Becoming Chairman of JLL UK is a phenomenal opportunity and I am excited to get started," Frost said in a statement. "I will focus on three of my passions — building and sustaining client relationships, bringing them the right team from across JLL and cultivating the next generation of leaders. We are positioned for strong growth with a track record of delivering in market conditions that require exceptionally broad and deep global expertise. JLL is more joined-up and accessible than ever, and I'm excited to bring these capabilities to new and established clients across the UK."

Sandbach to Drive UK Capital Markets Growth

Julian Sandbach, who has been with JLL for 18 years and previously served as Head of Central London Markets, will succeed Frost in leading the UK Capital Markets business. Sandbach brings more than three decades of experience in capital markets, having advised on numerous high-profile and complex transactions in London. The firm noted he has established relationships with key domestic and international investors.

"Leading JLL's capital markets business in the UK is an immense privilege," Sandbach said. "I will focus on growing JLL's leading position in UK investment markets by bringing together our technology-led insights and real-time analytics, to give our agents the strongest possible foundation on which to advise clients. We are seeing growth once more across sectors, and whilst challenges remain, there is a sustained feeling that capital markets have turned the corner following retrenchment in 2022 and that we now have a significant opportunity to accelerate growth as markets expand again."

Sandbach added that he is "honoured and excited" to lead the team in "harnessing their sector and product specific skills to serve clients seeking innovative advice to execute their strategies."

John Woodger Steps Up to Central London Role

John Woodger will take over leadership of Central London Capital Markets from Sandbach. The appointment rounds out a restructuring of JLL's UK capital markets leadership, with each role filled by an internal candidate.

All three appointments take effect March 31, 2026.
