Newmark Names Eric Brown Americas Head of Project Management, Advancing Integration and Operational Consistency
Newmark has appointed Eric Brown as Americas Head of Project Management, the commercial real estate services firm announced April 13, 2026. Brown will oversee project management operations across the United States, Canada, and Latin America, with a mandate to advance integration and operational consistency within Newmark's Occupier Solutions business.
Role and Responsibilities
In his new position, Brown will be responsible for strengthening alignment between Newmark's Project Management and Leasing teams, with the goal of delivering what the firm describes as seamless, end-to-end solutions for clients. His appointment also reinforces senior Occupier Solutions leadership presence in New York, which Newmark identified as one of its most important markets.
Peter Trollope, Global Head of Occupier Solutions at Newmark, said Brown's background positions him well for the role. "Eric brings both market credibility and an entrepreneurial mindset that will be instrumental as we continue to scale our Project Management business," Trollope said. "His experience integrating project delivery with Leasing teams aligns directly with how we are evolving our Occupier Solutions platform, creating a more connected, consistent and high-performing offering for clients globally."
Brown's Background in Project Management
Brown joins Newmark from Turner & Townsend, where he led Project Management Advisory Services in New York City and New Jersey. Prior to that, he held a series of senior leadership positions at CBRE focused on scaling project management offerings, leading major client engagements, and managing multidisciplinary teams across the Tri-State region.
"Newmark is building something differentiated in how it brings together advisory, execution and technology," Brown said. "Project management plays a critical role in delivering on that promise, and I'm excited to help further integrate our teams, scale the platform and deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes for clients across the Americas."
Newmark's Platform and Market Position
Newmark Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NMRK) reported revenues of nearly $3.3 billion for the twelve months ended December 31, 2025. The firm operates approximately 175 offices with more than 9,300 professionals across four continents. Newmark describes its service offering as spanning every phase of the property life cycle, serving clients ranging from owners to occupiers and from startups to large institutional investors.
The addition of Brown to the firm's senior leadership roster in New York reflects Newmark's continued investment in its Occupier Solutions platform. Brown previously held senior roles at Turner & Townsend and CBRE, two firms active in project management and advisory services.
