Thompson Thrift Completes Switch, a 276-Unit Luxury Multifamily Community in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Thompson Thrift has completed Switch, a 276-unit Class A multifamily community located within the Polaris Pointe mixed-use development in northern Colorado Springs. The company hosted a ribbon-cutting celebration on Sept. 17, 2026, marking the delivery of the ground-up project at 13280 Trolley View, at the intersection of Voyager Parkway and North Gate Blvd.

Property Overview and Unit Features

Switch sits on approximately 11 acres and offers apartment homes in one-, two- and three-bedroom configurations, averaging 1,000 square feet per unit. Standard in-unit features include stainless-steel appliances, glass-top ranges, hardwood-style flooring, walk-in showers, smart home capabilities and full-size washers and dryers. Select units offer premium appliance packages, cabinetry with soft-close doors, deluxe closet systems with shelving and garage options.

Community amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, a resort-style heated swimming pool, electric firepits, an outdoor entertainment kitchen, a billiards and shuffleboard area, bike storage and workshop, a dog park and pet spa, a coffee bar, a residence conference room with video-conferencing technology and community-wide Wi-Fi.

Strategic Location Within Polaris Pointe

Switch is embedded within Polaris Pointe, a 200-acre, approximately 60-business retail and mixed-use complex in the Northgate corridor of northern Colorado Springs. The development features the Ford Amphitheater, an 8,000-seat entertainment venue with an attached 45,000-square-foot year-round restaurant and event center. Additional tenants at Polaris Pointe include Sprouts, Bass Pro Shops, Chick-fil-A, Topgolf, indoor skydiving at iFly, trampoline and adventure park AirCity 360 and Overdrive Raceway.

The site's position at the Voyager Parkway and North Gate Blvd. intersection provides direct visibility and access to I-25. Major employers reachable within minutes include the U.S. Air Force Academy, UCHealth Memorial Hospital North and Progressive Insurance. The location places residents approximately 20 minutes from greater Colorado Springs and 40 minutes from downtown Denver via I-25.

Capital Structure and Charitable Giving

Equity for the development was provided by Thompson Thrift 2023 Multifamily Development, LP. Securities for the offering were made through North Capital Private Securities, a member of FINRA/SIPC.

During the ribbon-cutting event, guests toured the clubhouse, model home and community amenities. Thompson Thrift also presented a charitable donation to Dream Centers' Mary's Home, a long-term transitional housing program in Colorado Springs that provides care and supportive housing for single mothers and their children exiting homelessness.
