Dwight Capital and DMT Close $410M in Multifamily Financing Across Three States
NEW YORK — October 20, 2025 — Dwight Capital and its affiliate, Dwight Mortgage Trust (DMT), announced the closing of a combined total of $410 million in real estate financings during September, supporting multifamily projects in Tennessee, Texas, and Washington, according to the firm.
Multifamily Financings Total $410 Million
The financings include a $53 million bridge loan for South Banks in Knoxville, Tennessee; a $53 million HUD 221(d)(4) construction loan for The Lariat in Amarillo, Texas; and a $44 million bridge loan for Bode Columbia City and Bode Tacoma Dome in Washington.
South Banks Refinance in Knoxville
DMT provided a $53 million bridge loan to refinance South Banks, a 230-unit garden-style apartment community in Knoxville. The property includes 118 one-bedroom and 112 two-bedroom units, along with two ground-floor commercial suites totaling approximately 3,000 square feet. Loan proceeds will refinance existing debt, fund an interest reserve, and cover transaction costs. The financing was originated by Josh Hoffman and Jonathan Pomper of Dwight Capital on behalf of Dominion Group, a Knoxville-based real estate investment firm.
Construction Financing for The Lariat in Texas
Dwight Capital closed a $53 million HUD-insured 221(d)(4) construction loan for The Lariat, a 312-unit apartment community in Amarillo. The development will include 13 three-story residential buildings, a clubhouse and leasing center, and six garages on 13.5 acres. The project is designed to meet ENERGY STAR New Construction Multifamily standards. The loan was originated by Brandon Baksh and Tommy Ng of Dwight Capital on behalf of Martin Inderman Development.
Bridge Loan for Bode Projects in Washington
DMT also provided a $44 million bridge loan to refinance two nearly completed multifamily communities — Bode Columbia City and Bode Tacoma Dome — totaling 244 units across Seattle and Tacoma. The financing, which closed prior to temporary certificates of occupancy, retires existing construction debt, covers loan transaction costs, funds an interest reserve, and supports final construction completion. The transaction was originated on behalf of Bode, a Seattle-based development firm.
