Beedie and Dhanda Break Ground on 2.5-Million-Square-Foot Parkwood Industrial Estates in Delta

Beedie and Dhanda have broken ground on Parkwood Industrial Estates in Delta, British Columbia, marking the start of construction on what is being described as the largest new industrial development in Metro Vancouver. The project, nearly a decade in the making, will encompass approximately 2.5 million square feet of industrial space at 5224 88 St. in Delta.

Ares Management and PSP Investments Launch $2.4 Billion U.S. Logistics Joint Venture Managed by Marq Logistics

Ares Management and the Public Sector Pension Investment Board have established a joint venture targeting up to $2.4 billion in U.S. logistics real estate, seeded with 14 properties totaling 5.2 million square feet across California, Texas and New Jersey. Marq Logistics, Ares Real Estate's vertically integrated logistics platform, will lead sourcing and asset management for the venture.

Government of Canada, Nova Scotia Department of Growth and Development, Halifax Regional Municipality, and YWCA Halifax Open 91 Affordable Rentals at Dartmouth's Mount Hope Village

A four-party funding coalition has completed Phases 2 and 3 of Mount Hope Village in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, delivering 91 non-profit townhouse rentals for women and gender-diverse led families. The Government of Canada contributed $26.6 million of the more than $37 million total, with additional support from the Nova Scotia Department of Growth and Development and the Halifax Regional Municipality.
