NANJING, China — July 2, 2026 — GLP has signed domestic supermarket chain Yuehuoli (悦活里) to an 18,000-square-meter regional distribution center at GLP Group in Nanjing, the Singapore- and Shanghai-based logistics real estate firm announced. The lease represents Yuehuoli's first East China regional distribution center and its initial supply chain foothold in the Yangtze River Delta.

Facility Combines Cold Chain and Ambient Storage

The 18,000-square-meter facility — approximately 193,750 square feet — is configured to support Yuehuoli's multi-category retail model, which centers on neighborhood-format stores selling fresh produce, daily essentials and ready-to-eat food. GLP said the park features a combination of ambient warehouses and multi-temperature cold storage facilities within a single integrated platform, enabling standard goods storage, fresh produce handling, fulfillment and distribution under one roof.

GLP described the facility's design as closely aligned with the operational requirements of fresh supermarket retailers, for whom product quality and supply chain efficiency are critical. The integrated cold chain and ambient configuration supports Yuehuoli's range of product categories.

GLP Jiangning South Park is located in Jiangning District, with proximity to Nanjing Lukou International Airport and regional expressway networks. GLP said that positioning gives tenants access to major consumption centers across the Yangtze River Delta, supporting both regional distribution and last-mile delivery into urban markets.

Yuehuoli Establishes East China Distribution Hub

For Yuehuoli, the Nanjing lease marks the establishment of its first East China regional distribution center. GLP described the facility as a scalable platform intended to support the continued expansion of Yuehuoli's store network across the Yangtze River Delta.

Yuehuoli focuses on high-frequency, everyday consumption — a retail format that places particular demands on warehouse real estate, requiring rapid inventory turnover, temperature-controlled storage for perishables and flexible fulfillment capabilities. GLP said the Jiangning South facility is designed to meet those operational needs.

No financial terms were disclosed, including rent levels, lease duration or tenant improvement arrangements.

Nanjing Demand for Logistics Infrastructure

GLP described Nanjing as an emerging key consumption hub in East China with rising demand for high-quality fresh food and community-based supermarket formats. As consumer preferences shift toward fresher products and faster fulfillment, GLP said retailers are increasingly investing in advanced, proximity-based logistics infrastructure — particularly integrated cold chain and multi-category distribution capabilities.

GLP China's broader logistics and industrial portfolio comprises 50 million square meters of total space under management as of December 31, 2025, including approximately 40 million square meters in operation across 70 cities, serving more than 2,500 domestic consumption-focused customers, according to the firm. GLP also operates data center and renewable energy infrastructure in China.

GLP said it continues to leverage its logistics infrastructure network and operational expertise to support customers in building more efficient and resilient supply chains.

No details on financing, development cost or investment strategy for the Jiangning South asset were disclosed in connection with the announcement.
